When MBCO Engineering + Surveying (MBCO) began in February of 2015, four engineers came together to deliver the best of their collective, yet diverse and varying areas of expertise. Having worked together before, their history of collaboration set the foundation for a new firm that would guarantee they were A TOWER ABOVE™. This means working as a “tower” (the unique name for a group of giraffes, MBCO’s official mascot) to deliver responsive engineering and surveying and to Maximize Opportunity by Taking Risks, Breaking Barriers and Creating Success on Our Own Terms.

Over the past eight years, MBCO has expanded from four to 44 employees and is the most trusted woman-owned, full-service engineering and surveying firm in the Texas gulf coast region. Bonnie Moss,
PE, Founder and President
Bonnie Moss, PE brings over 24 years of experience in the design of transportation and traffic engineering including project management & preparation of plans, specifications & estimates for large-scale traffic signal systems, roadway & drainage design projects, and traffic management systems. Ms. Moss is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas with previous project experience working with TxDOT, Harris County Public Infrastructure Dept., Harris County, City of Houston, City of Sugar Land, and Fort Bend County.

Callie Bletsch,
PE, Founder and Senior Vice President
Callie Bletsch, PE has over 22 years of experience designing and managing civil and survey projects. Ms. Bletsch has concentrated experience in municipal infrastructure systems. She has designed large diameter water mains ranging from 30 inches to 84 inches in diameter installed with open-cut, tunneling, and aerial crossing methods. She has managed design consultants and provided project management, condition assessments and program management. She has a strong working knowledge of all aspects of project design process from concept through construction.
George Gerardo,
Vice President of Production
George Gerardo has over 23 years of experience in the CAD design and project support field. His experience reflects a diverse technical expertise for commercial, residential, industrial and private sector development projects. These projects included the design of roadways, wet and dry utilities and new traffic signals. In addition, to this experience Mr. Gerardo has assisted in the management of Projects of various size and complexity, ranging in value from five thousand dollars to over five hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Onie Benavides,
Vice President of People and Culture
Onie Benavides is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of business management experience. As an advisor to MBCO leadership, she works closely with them on strategic planning and provides expert guidance on HR and people strategies. Onie is an accomplished leader who excels in developing, implementing, and maintaining structured practices in performance review and employee training, development, and retention. She provides leadership and consulting support to executives, managing all HR functions to ensure organizational culture and success. Through coaching leaders on how to design, build, and develop high-performing teams, including goal setting, performance management, people development, and total rewards, Onie helps MBCO and its team members succeed.
Marion Clark,
RPLS
Marion Clark, RPLS, brings over 50 years of surveying experience in all aspects of land surveying, including oil and gas surveys, pipeline surveys, boundary, as-built, topographic design for engineering and public infrastructure projects, transportation, right-of-way, subdivision platting and land development, horizontal and vertical control, utilizing GPS technology, industrial, hydrographic, and institutional surveys for hospitals and schools.
